I strive to maintain professional relationships
in every interaction that I have with both students and my colleagues.

I have assisted with Clean-Ups, participated in PLCs, proctored PSSAs, monitored Keystone testing, served as a Saturday-School/Detention monitor, created sets for shows, entered student works in contests, taught after-school classes, chaperoned field trips, and more. I currently advise the ColorGuard (Bandfront/Danceteam) at SHHS and assist with hair & makeup for the school musicals. I  also try to regularly exhibit student artwork to highlight student achievements and display work in the hallways and at my district's our biannual art exhibit.

I value their lives in and outside my art room. This allows me to build relationships with my students and makes classroom management easy!

My classroom management style is based
on Linda Albert’s Cooperative Discipline theory. Many misbehaviors result from students feeling incapable of success. It is my goal is to make every student feel valued and welcomed in school.
